Dubai Launches FEEL Program for Future Leaders

Dubai Future Academy, a key initiative of the Dubai Future Foundation, has introduced the “FEEL: A Disruptive Futures Program,” marking the first international initiative of its kind in the region. This groundbreaking program is designed to develop global future leaders and reinforce Dubai’s reputation as the world’s most future-ready city.

The FEEL program, spanning four weeks, offers a comprehensive training experience aimed at cultivating future foresight leaders. Participants will engage in hands-on experiences with cutting-edge technologies and receive expert lectures on sustainable development and longevity. The program provides practical applications of future technologies, aligning with Dubai’s strategic goal of enhancing individuals’ readiness for future challenges.

Participants will be immersed in Dubai’s innovative environment through exclusive field trips to notable hubs, including the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre, Dubai Police Innovation Center, Dubai Future Labs, and the Roads and Transport Authority. These visits will showcase robots, self-driving vehicles, and other revolutionary technologies.

The FEEL program will highlight promising innovations such as glass capable of storing information for 10,000 years, the ‘liquid tree’ that absorbs CO2 and produces oxygen, the ‘WakeCap’ workforce safety solution, rocket engines developed using advanced algorithms, and lab-grown food.

HE Khalfan Belhoul, CEO of Dubai Future Foundation, emphasized that the FEEL program is open to participants from diverse fields, aiming to equip them with advanced tools in future foresight, leadership, and innovation. He noted that this initiative supports Dubai’s strategy for future readiness through practical experimentation, innovation, sustainability, and global collaboration.

The program will be led by prominent global experts in foresight and future thinking from prestigious institutions like MIT, Yale, and Stanford. Notable speakers include Fadel Adib, Professor Paul Saffo, Dr. Michael Shermer, Dr. Steven Novella, and Dr. Danielle Belardo.
