Tenable Appoints Shai Morag as Chief Product Officer

Tenable®, the exposure management company, has announced the appointment of Shai Morag as Chief Product Officer. Morag’s primary focus will be to enhance Tenable’s entire portfolio, propelling the company’s next phase of growth by developing security products tailored for a cloud-first world.

Shai Morag joined Tenable in 2023 following the acquisition of Ermetic, a cloud-native application protection platform (CNAPP) company, where he was CEO and co-founder. Since then, Morag has been pivotal in expanding Tenable Cloud Security, empowering security teams to mitigate risks by promptly identifying and addressing critical security gaps due to misconfigurations, risky entitlements, and vulnerabilities within a robust CNAPP.

With over 25 years of experience in product management, technology leadership, and senior executive roles, Morag brings extensive expertise to Tenable. Before Ermetic, he co-founded and led Secdo, a cybersecurity company acquired by Palo Alto Networks. He also served as CEO of Integrity-Project, a connectivity, networking, and security solutions company acquired by Mellanox. Additionally, Morag spent a decade as an officer in the Israeli Defense Forces Intelligence Corps Unit 8200.
