Microsoft Launches AI-Powered Surface Devices in UAE

Microsoft has announced the launch of the all-new Surface Pro 11th Edition Copilot+ PC and Surface Laptop 7th Edition Copilot+ PC in the UAE, empowering users to accelerate their Artificial Intelligence (AI) transformation journey. These devices, part of Microsoft’s Copilot+ PCs portfolio, are designed to deliver unmatched performance and AI capabilities.

The Copilot+ PCs stand out with powerful new silicon capable of over 40 trillion operations per second (TOPS), all-day battery life, and access to advanced AI models. Key features include Recall for instant information retrieval, Cocreator for real-time AI image generation, and Live Captions that translate videos from 44 languages, including Arabic, into English.

Adam Labancz, Surface Category Manager at Microsoft UAE, emphasized that these new Surface devices are designed for students, professionals, and enthusiasts seeking to boost productivity through cutting-edge AI experiences. “With the rapid pace of AI transformation, Microsoft Copilot has redefined what’s possible. Now, with our first-ever Copilot+ PCs from Surface, we’re entering a new chapter of AI innovation,” Labancz stated.

The Surface Pro 11th Edition Copilot+ PC is built for on-the-go users, featuring lightning-fast performance, AI-accelerated power, and an optional OLED display, all in a sleek and versatile design. Equipped with the Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus processors, this 2-in-1 device delivers performance that is 90% faster than its predecessor. It also supports fast connectivity with Wi-Fi 7 and can connect to three 4K monitors, offering up to 14 hours of battery life.

Similarly, the Surface Laptop 7th Edition Copilot+ PC is designed to accelerate innovation and solve problems faster with its AI-powered features and Copilot experiences. The laptop, available in 13.8-inch and 15-inch display options, boasts a redesigned build with brighter displays, more ports, and up to 22 hours of battery life.

Security is a core focus for these devices. According to Labancz, “At Microsoft, we believe the best way to secure information on a PC is to secure the whole PC itself.” All Copilot+ PCs are Secured-core PCs, offering advanced firmware safeguards and dynamic root-of-trust measurement. Additionally, the Microsoft Pluton security processor, built on Zero Trust principles, enhances chip-to-cloud security, protecting credentials, identities, and encryption keys.

The Surface Pro 11th Edition Copilot+ PC and Surface Laptop 7th Edition Copilot+ PC will be available in the UAE from August 27, with prices starting at AED 4,099 and AED 3,999, respectively.
