Under the new structure, three chambers of commerce, namely Dubai Chamber of Commerce, Dubai International Chamber, and Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, operate under Dubai Chambers, each with their own distinct brand, strategy, and approach.The announcement follows the adoption of Dubai Chambers' 2022-2024 strategy earlier this year, which expands its role as an important organization supporting Dubai's economic growth.

Addressing global challenges in digital and post- COVID world requires new forms of leadership, including from chambers of commerce. Two years in making, the Congress will equip the chamber and business communities with insight and tools to effectively respond to the needs of the real economy, enable a resilient post-pandemic recovery and enable more widespread peace and prosperity for all.

“We are encouraged by the tremendous response we saw to the competition this year, as well as the high calibre submissions received by chambers from all corners of the globe,” said H.E. Hamad Buamim.

The World Chambers Congress, a hallmark event of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the institutional representative of over 45 million enterprises, and its World Chambers Federation (WCF), is co-organized by Dubai Chamber in 2021. The three-day event will investigate the role of chambers in reviving global trade and provide a more excellent knowledge of how technology is empowering.
