Ali Abdulwahab Al Mutawa Commercial Co. (AAW), a trading and commercial company in Kuwait, announced it has signed an agreement with SAP to implement a digital transformation initiative to support AWW’s 2,500 employees. AAW will be incorporating into its core human capital management SAP’s robust cloud-based technology spanning core HR, payroll, talent management, employee experience management, and people analytics.

AAW and SAP have already successfully deployed SAP’s SuccessFactors Performance Management and Goals Management module on the cloud, and are currently in the process of deploying other modules, including recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning modules.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, AAW maintained business continuity by introducing an innovative all-remote deployment. It has deployed SAP’s SuccessFactors Performance Management and Goals Management module, in addition to its Human Experience Management (HXM) suite. AAW now handles recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning entirely online on the cloud.

AAW Chairman and CEO, Mr. Faisal Ali Al Mutawa said: “During the COVID-19 pandemic, AAW has maintained business continuity by enabling an innovative all-remote deployment. Today, as our business continues to expand, especially into e-commerce, we are focusing more on our employees’ needs as they work remotely. Thanks to our digital transformation with SAP, our employees continue to be engaged and our offering continues to be top caliber, customer-centric, and resorts-oriented despite the challenges brought on by the pandemic.”
