Ajmal Perfumes partners with SAP to fuel region’s $4.4 billion fragrances market

Ajmal Perfumes to enter USD 4.4 billion fragrance market in the Middle East with its digital transformation journey by partnering with global technology company SAP.

Consumers in the Middle East are rapidly moving away from mass-market fragrances and toward more upscale, locally produced ones. According to a recent analysis by Allied Industry Research, the Middle East’s perfumes market is expected to rise 52 percent from USD 2.9 billion in 2019 to USD 4.4 billion by 2027.

Ajmal Perfumes, which was founded in 1951, has a 150,000 square foot state-of-the-art factory that produces 100,000 bottles of perfume every day. Ajmal Perfumes has over 1,000 dealers and distributors worldwide, as well as 240 retail stores in 45 countries, 30 Duty-Free sites, and international airlines.

Ajmal Perfumes is collaborating with channel partner Accely to digitally alter its processes in order to support innovation in the perfume sector. Ajmal Perfumes will use the SAP S/4HANA real-time business suite on the RISE with SAP platform, and the SAP SuccessFactors human experience management suite to improve employee experiences.
