As AWNIC celebrates its silver jubilee in the insurance sector, we offer our heartfelt appreciation to our shareholders for their faith, loyal policyholders, business partners, vendors, and personnel who have been important in delivering exceptional service throughout the years.

Throughout our two-and-a-half-decade journey, the insurance industry has seen changes in client preferences, service expectations, and behaviour. With increased insurance awareness, client needs have become more sophisticated, and the focus has switched to the company’s quality of services, reputation, and service touch points.

The COVID 19 epidemic highlighted the necessity for customer service innovation as well as the critical use of digitization in operations. Since the advent of the epidemic, we’ve been able to use our valued digital capabilities to help others. We were able to operate completely remotely and were one of the only insurance companies in the UAE to do so without missing a single day of work.

We have also provided a smooth customer journey through e-channels such as the e-commerce website and mobile app, which allows customers to access our insurance products, report and review claim status anytime and anywhere on the go, with technology at the heart of all our activities.                                           

During the challenges the world faced in 2020, kindness and empathy needed to be a part of any business operation. Hence, AWNIC has played its part in recognizing the UAE frontliners by rolling out the UAE Heroes initiative to contribute with up to AED 1 million which was well received and appreciated by the regulators.

Finally, as AWNIC continues to lead in the insurance industry, we are committed to exceeding the expectations of our stakeholders, partners, workers, and consumers. AWNIC is glad to have served 500,000 satisfied customers by providing long-term value to all stakeholders. We will continue to learn from our mistakes and aim to improve our operations every day so that we can leave a positive impact on society.
