Barracuda will showcase cloud adoption security solutions at GITEX. Barracuda will be back at GITEX this year with a comprehensive suite of cybersecurity solutions to help organizations safeguard mission-critical apps and data in a digitally changing environment. The company’s technical focus will be on its Cloud Application Protection solution, which delivers robust application security that is simple to use and aids in the protection of applications deployed on-premises, in the cloud, or in a hybrid environment. Barracuda will also demonstrate enhanced incident response capabilities for its Total Email Protection product, a robust security suite that protects against a wide range of email threats.

In its recent analysis, Barracuda discovered that 72 percent of organizations were breached through online applications, titled “The state of application security in 2021.” Furthermore, the top threats included malicious bots (43 percent), software supply chain assaults (39 percent), vulnerability detection (38 percent), and safeguarding APIs (38 percent) (37 percent ). Barracuda Cloud Application Protection provides active threat intelligence for effective protection against these and other application threat vectors by employing machine learning, vulnerability scanning and remediation, and Advanced Threat Protection.
The firm will also assist regional firms in dealing with ransomware, a menace that has witnessed a 64% spike in attacks year over year. The company’s Total Email Protection solution, which integrates gateway defense, inbox protection, and user security awareness into a single, comprehensive solution, is critical to the defense. Barracuda achieved the highest possible score in the deployment choices, content processing capabilities, incident response, scalability and reliability, and support and customer success criterion in “The Forrester Wave: Enterprise Email Security, Q2 2021.”
The company also plans to emphasize its partnership with Microsoft and the value that this partnership provides to businesses when they adopt cloud solutions like Office 365. Barracuda Cloud-to-Cloud Backup was updated this year to include a new platform that provides a rapid search and recovery experience for Office 365 data, including Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
As with previous editions of the show, key executives from Barracuda’s Middle East and international technical and sales teams are set to attend and will be present at the company’s stand (A20 in Hall 2) through the five days of the event. “GITEX gives us the unique opportunity to meet a large number of our customers and resellers at a single location – something that has been notably missing over the last year.
