BeyondTrust has released BeyondTrust Remote Support 21.3, which includes a new Microsoft Teams integration. Users may now connect directly with a support person via Teams and, if necessary, escalate to a fully audited remote screen sharing session without ever leaving Microsoft Teams. Additionally, new features enable direct connection with Azure Domain services for the discovery and rotation of credentials stored in Azure Active Directory (AD).

“Support teams need a simplified, seamless and intuitive interface for their end-users to gain access to the support they need,” said Tal Guest, Director of Product Management at BeyondTrust.

He added, “These key integrations with Microsoft will allow organizations to streamline their end user experience and better secure their enterprise environments.”

IT service desks are dealing with a more complicated support environment, which necessitates adaptable remote support choices that can scale, adapt, and continue to fulfill stringent security standards. Many businesses continue to rely on a mix of remote access technologies, including free tools, that are unable to scale across their entire organization and lack the security capabilities needed to safeguard against modern assaults. BeyondTrust Remote Maintain enables businesses to support a wide range of devices, including unattended systems and the Internet of Things, while improving operational efficiency and minimizing downtime and costs.

BeyondTrust Remote Support 21.3 includes the following new features and enhancements:

  • Microsoft Teams Integrations – Enables businesses to increase their remote assistance capabilities by using Teams chat to conduct seamless sessions.
  • UI Updates to the Web and Login Console – Enhances the user experience by making remote support lighter, faster, and simpler to use.
  • Account Switching Azure AD Domain Services – Allows companies to manage and inject Azure AD Domain Services-managed credentials. When logging into a remote system, Vault Credential Store Search allows users to search the credential list.
  • Team Chat History – Allows users to continue conversations started by other team members, with the history being saved and accessible when they return to the console.
  • Representative Status Codes – Tailor to the needs of the support staff and link with other products using the Command APIs to optimise workflows.
  • Jump Item Reporting — Enables administrators to use a new report type dedicated to Jump item management and configuration.
  • Polish Language Support -All product components include Polish language translations.
  • Appliance Migration Tool — Allows you to migrate from an on-premises appliance to a cloud-based appliance, as well as from a physical appliance deployment to another deployment type.
