Boeing 777X reached Dubai for the 2021 Dubai Airshow

The new Boeing 777X arrived at Dubai World Central for the 2021 Dubai Airshow.

The nearly 15-hour nonstop journey from Seattle’s Boeing Field to Dubai marked the 777X’s first international flight and longest flight to date. The plane is still undergoing extensive testing. Starting on Sunday, Nov. 14, Boeing will join the airshow’s flying program and put the 777X on a static exhibit.

The 777-9 will be the world’s largest and most efficient twin-engine jet, delivering 10% better fuel use, emissions, and operating costs than the competition while providing an extraordinary passenger experience. It will be based on the best of the industry-leading 777 and 787 Dreamliner families.
