Commvault to unveil regional leadership and latest solutions at GITEX

Commvault will unveil regional leadership and latest solutions at GITEX Technology Week 2021. The event will take place from 17 – 21 October 2021 at Dubai World Trade Centre.

Commvault, which is attending GITEX for the fifth year in a row, is emphasising its Metallic Cloud Storage Service during this year’s exhibition.

New Appointments

Commvault has appointed Fady Richmany as Regional Vice President – South Eastern Europe, Middle East, Turkey, and Africa, reiterating its commitment to the region. Fady brings over 30 years of experience in the IT sector, including critical industry insight, long-established relationships within the tech ecosystem, and vast experience from numerous senior general manager leadership roles with global technology organisations, to take responsibility for multiple high-growth national markets ranging from South Eastern Europe to South Africa.

Fady spent 16.5 years at Dell/EMC, where he led the company in emerging markets as General Manager for Emerging Africa, Central Eastern Europe, and most recently the UAE, as well as overseeing the Data Protection Solutions Business Units as Regional Sales Director across the TEEAM area (Turkey, Eastern Europe, Africa, & Middle East).

Commvault’s Solutions

Commvault will demonstrate Metallic, its pioneering backup-as-a-solution product, at GITEX in response to strong demand for intelligent data management systems from local enterprises. With a single pane of glass management through the Commvault Command Center, the solution offers a fully integrated cloud storage target for Commvault Backup and Recovery software and HyperScale X equipment.
