DIFC is hosting first Blockchain week to help accelerate UAE’s digital economy. The DIFC Blockchain Week (12–16 September) is the first in a series of themed weeks hosted by the DIFC Innovation Hub, the region’s largest innovation ecosystem dedicated to bringing together innovators and investors to fuel the next generation of digital enterprises.

Expert speakers, senior authorities, and professionals will debate the most pressing concerns and prospects in the field of technology. Encrypted financial services, digital assets, smart contracts, digital asset legislation, and the investment landscape for innovation are among the topics discussed. ‘Will Blockchain and crypto redefine the future of finance?’ DIFC will hold two keynote panel sessions. ‘How can Blockchain help smart cities?’ and ‘How can Blockchain help smart cities? ’.

A variety of courses focusing on various sectors, as well as interactive seminars and discussions, will be held during the week to help firms and people establish their future Blockchain plans.

Companies at the DIFC Innovation Hub can use the Centre’s resources to help them build smart technology applications, including as education, networking, and funding opportunities. Over 60% of GCC FinTech and innovation businesses are currently situated in DIFC’s Innovation Hub, with a number of these companies developing Blockchain technologies.
