GBM & IBM are hosting “Beyond the Hype – How AI and Data are driving enterprise agility”, an event where experts will discuss current trends, issues, challenges, and opportunities in the field of Data Management, AI and Sustainable Performance Management by using AI and analytics tools and technologies.

The event will be hosted on June 23, 2022, at Waldorf Astoria, Dubai from  9 am to 1 pm.

The panel will be accompanied by Muhammad Raza Jessani, SVP – Head of Strategic Planning & Business Analytics Dubai Islamic Bank, Mostafa Zafer, VP Data & AI and Automation MEA from IBM, Joy Paul, Regional Leader – Analytics, AI, Risk & ESG from GBM and Savio Monteiro, Director – Digital Business Solutions from GBM Dubai.

The event will graze upon the topic of why turning data into insight is important for businesses who are trying to speed up their journey to AI and harness the massive amount of enterprise-wide data generated. However, these enterprises are not able to leverage those data.

Mohamed Riaz, General Manager, GBM Dubai said “Several barriers are hindering AI adoption such as understanding the value that AI brings, availability of the required tools like cloud-enabled infrastructure data readiness, as well as the availability of proper skills to build AI models.”

According to Riaz, enterprises can overcome these barriers by building some of the capabilities internally as well as selecting the right partner to help them on their digital transformation journey.

People need to understand the importance of robust data and how much that makes the foundation of any AI innovation. AI is also helping corporate companies on reaching their goals of sustainability, environmental impact, social welfare, and governance (ESG) on top of existing Performance Management.

A shift to personalized user-centricity is being seen from the mobile centricity in an AI first-world form in which conversational AI has the proficiency to be a curator of products and services and fulfill the needs of customers and engage them emotionally anytime and anywhere, using intelligent AI engine.
