Dubai’s Crown Prince, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, has inaugurated the Dubai Economic Leadership Program. This initiative aims to equip the next generation of capable Emirati talent with the knowledge of the latest economic trends and expertise needed to lead crucial sectors in Dubai.

This program, organized in collaboration with esteemed international partners specializing in the field of the economy by the Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Leadership Development (MBRCLD), is designed to prepare national talent through high-quality education and targeted activities, ensuring they are well-equipped for future leadership roles.

In a statement shared on his official X account, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan expressed his vision for the program, saying, “Today, we launch the ‘Dubai Economic Leaders Program.’ Our objective is to cultivate Emirati talent who will take on the responsibility of advancing Dubai’s economy and fulfilling its economic agenda, D33, while ensuring sustainable growth.”

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan also emphasized his personal involvement in overseeing this year-long program, which falls under the auspices of MBRCLD. He extended an invitation to those who envision themselves as integral to Dubai and the UAE’s future to participate.

Highlighting Dubai’s potential, he noted, “With a wealth of creative minds across all sectors, Dubai possesses the resilience and proactivity to maintain a prominent position among the world’s most diverse and rapidly growing economies.”

The Dubai Economic Leadership Program seeks to foster the development of promising national talents and create an environment conducive to nurturing leadership skills and supporting exceptional individuals. It aligns with the objectives of D33, which aims to double Dubai’s economic growth in the next decade and solidify its position among the world’s top three cities.

Registration for the program, managed by the Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Leadership Development, will be open between September and October on their website. Prospective applicants are expected to have a strategic, forward-thinking vision and a significant role in shaping strategies within their organizations. They should also lead strategic initiatives, manage successful teams, and hold second- and third-level leadership positions.
