Streamline Innovations and EMDAD LLC have collaborated to market and deploy Streamline’s environmentally forward treatment solutions for H2S and CO2 to EMDAD’s clients in the UAE. EMDAD will represent Streamline in the country with prospective clients under the provisions of the Agency Agreement.

“We are excited to partner with EMDAD to bring our innovative, environmentally forward solutions to the clients and citizens of the UAE, accelerating our growth into one of the world’s most important oil and gas producing countries,” said David Sisk, CEO of Streamline Innovations.

The sales and marketing push comes at a time when the global energy industry is working towards net-zero emissions and eradicating natural gas flaring on a regular basis. The UAE and other oil-producing countries in the region are shifting to more sustainable and environmentally friendly operational techniques in response to growing impetus to enhance Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance.

“The establishment of this relationship with Streamline Innovations comes at an opportune time for both our clients and our company,” said Mohammed Juma Al Bawardi, Chairman of EMDAD.

Bawardi said that their clients are seeking new, innovative approaches that not only help them achieve their environmental performance goals, but also generate more revenue. “Streamline’s solutions are aligned with these objectives, and we anticipate their technologies will be a key factor in strengthening relationships with existing clients and attracting new business,” he said.

Siskadded:“EMDAD is an ideal partner to help us enter the UAE market with their established presence, well trained staff, and knowledge of the unique challenges faced by operators in the region.”

Sisk said their solutions can help oil and gas producers achieve their ESG mandates, eliminate routine flaring of contaminated gas and reduce emissions, typically while generating additional revenue.

Rather than burning H2S-contaminated natural gas generated in conjunction with crude oil, companies in the region are looking for new, cost-effective ways to cleanse the gas and put it to good use.H2S is destroyed by Streamline technology and converted into Simple Elemental SulfurTM, which is approved for use in organic production by the Organic Material Review Institute (OMRI).

Streamline brings its technology-based Valkryie H2S treatment solution and technical expertise, while EMDAD brings local connections, existing client relationships, and local knowledge of the UAE market, including ADNOC. This combination is expected to give oil and gas producers in the region with tried-and-true technologies for treating H2S and meeting ESG standards, backed up by a dependable and knowledgeable local workforce.
