ALEC to revolutionise data centre construction in MENA region

Building on its strengths in construction, MEP, logistics, fitout, and technology integration, ALEC today announced the formation of its newest subsidiary, ALEC Data Centre Solutions, in order to meet the growing demand for regional data centers.

In addition to designing, implementing, and commissioning turn-key data centers that meet the highest international standards, the company will provide clients with prefabricated data centers for quick deployments in the region. It will also be the first in the region to specialize in liquid immersion solutions, resulting in more sustainable, customizable, and cost-effective data centers. ALEC Data Centre Solutions will also open its flagship experience center in the coming weeks, where clients and prospects will be able to see the company’s solutions in person and speak with experts about their specific needs.

The UAE has seen a sharp increase in demand for local data centers, fueled by the wave of digital transformation as well as concerns about data sovereignty and security. In fact, the country is one of the largest data center hubs in the Middle East, with an expected investment of over US$1,015 million by 2026, representing a 7.99 percent CAGR between 2021 and 2026. Apart from a few large organizations, however, most enterprises in the region have found it difficult to conceptualize, build, and commission data centers.

Furthermore, the company will be able to provide Liquid immersion solutions in all of these sectors.
