Beyon Solutions, part of the Beyon Group, announced a strategic partnership with the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) during the Gateway Gulf Investor Forum 2025. The announcement was made in the presence of H.E. Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Beyon Group, and other senior officials.

This partnership will launch Bahrain’s first AI-ready Sovereign HyperCloud, powered by Oracle Alloy. The platform marks a major milestone in the Kingdom’s digital transformation and data sovereignty journey.

Developed by Beyon Solutions in collaboration with Oracle, and with support from the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB), the HyperCloud is a secure, locally operated cloud. It is the only cloud designed to host data entirely within Bahrain. The platform integrates global innovation with local governance, allowing government entities and enterprises to innovate while maintaining full control of their data.

The iGA will serve as the anchor client, driving cloud adoption across Bahraini government entities. They will use the platform to enable data-driven governance, intelligent citizen services, and smarter public sector operations. Government entities can also leverage Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications through the HyperCloud to enhance service efficiency and productivity.

iGA Chief Executive Mohamed Ali Al Qaed stated that the HyperCloud aligns with Bahrain’s government vision and the directives of the Ministerial Committee for Information & Communication Technology. He emphasized that the partnership with Beyon Solutions and Oracle strengthens secure and efficient government services, empowering AI, automation, and analytics while keeping data protected locally.

Shaikh Mohamed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of Digital Growth at Beyon, commented, “The Sovereign HyperCloud is a pivotal step in advancing Bahrain’s digital future. It enables government and enterprises to unlock the full potential of AI and data within a secure national ecosystem.”

Nicholas Toon, CEO of Beyon Solutions, said, “Through our collaboration with iGA and Oracle, Bahrain can harness advanced cloud and AI capabilities while ensuring data residency and governance. The platform offers access to over 200 AI and cloud services, including analytics, infrastructure, Oracle Fusion Applications, and cybersecurity.”

The launch aligns with Bahrain’s Vision 2030, supporting AI adoption, digital resilience, and cybersecurity. Oracle’s Simon AlKhaled added that Oracle Alloy enables the Kingdom to combine global cloud innovation with full national control of data, reinforcing Bahrain’s leadership in digital sovereignty.
