CyberArk (NASDAQ: CYBR) has announced a new integration between its Privileged Access Manager (PAM) and Microsoft Defender for Identity, providing organizations with a unified view of their identity security landscape. This integration enables faster, more effective threat response and containment, empowering Security Operations (SecOps) teams to address advanced threats.

Defender for Identity is a cloud-based solution that safeguards on-premises identities against sophisticated threats and helps manage identity risk. Integrated with Microsoft Defender XDR, it leverages signals from hybrid identity environments to improve threat detection and investigation.

CyberArk’s Privileged Access Manager is part of the CyberArk Identity Security Platform, designed to secure, measure, and control privileged access for IT and cloud operations teams managing applications in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

The integration enhances privileged access control and monitoring capabilities, streamlining workflows. It connects data from diverse systems, helping Security Operations Center (SOC) and Identity teams with more effective threat hunting, precise attack path identification, and comprehensive remediation. This collaboration improves overall cyber resilience.

Clarence Hinton, Chief Strategy Officer at CyberArk, stated, “Through the CyberArk C³ Alliance’s diverse ecosystem of partners, we continue to provide unparalleled protection against identity-centric attacks. This integration allows organizations to maximize their investment and simplify efforts to secure identities across on-premises and multi-cloud environments.”

This collaboration marks a significant step in strengthening identity security and boosting response times to potential threats.
