Dell, Aramco, and NITA Collaborate to Boost Saudi Tech Talent

In a significant move aimed at enhancing Saudi Arabia’s technological capabilities, Dell Technologies, Aramco, and the National IT Academy (NITA) have forged a strategic partnership. The collaboration centers on equipping local talent with advanced skills in science and technology through specialized training programs and certifications.

The agreement, signed by key executives including Nabil Al-Nuaim of Aramco, Majed S. Al-Ghassab of NITA, and Mohammed Amin of Dell Technologies, introduces the “ITXcelerate” initiative. This intensive four-month program targets recent graduates in computer engineering, computer science, and IT. Participants will gain Dell Proven Professional Certifications in crucial fields such as storage management, data science, and AI. Practical learning opportunities, including job shadowing and mentoring, are integral to the program’s design, ensuring graduates are not only knowledgeable but also job-ready.

Aligned with Saudi Arabia’s vision for technological advancement, the collaboration underscores a shared commitment to nurturing a skilled workforce capable of driving innovation and economic growth. Nabil Al-Nuaim emphasized Aramco’s dedication to enhancing the Kingdom’s technological landscape, stating, “By investing in local IT talent, we aim to bolster Saudi Arabia’s position as a leader in IT innovation.”

Majed S. Al-Ghassab of NITA highlighted the program’s role in preparing graduates for success in the competitive tech industry, emphasizing, “This agreement marks a significant step in advancing Saudi Arabia’s technology goals.”

Mohammed Amin from Dell Technologies expressed enthusiasm about empowering Saudi Arabia’s future IT leaders, affirming, “This partnership exemplifies our commitment to building a sustainable technology ecosystem in the Kingdom.”
