Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) and the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) have added two major events to the Dubai AI Week 2025 agenda. Held under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the event will run from 21 to 25 April 2025.
The newly announced events are the 8th International Conference on Education Quality and the HIMSS Executive Summit 2025. Both additions highlight Dubai’s efforts to expand AI collaboration between the public and private sectors.
Dubai AI Week will bring together global experts, decision-makers, and technology professionals. Most activities will take place at the Museum of the Future and AREA 2071 in Emirates Towers. The week will focus on practical AI applications and the future of innovation across key industries.
The 8th International Conference on Education Quality will be hosted by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai. It will run from 22 to 24 April at the Grand Hyatt Dubai and GDRFA Headquarters. The theme is “Artificial Intelligence Innovations: Future Visions in Empowering Public Institutions and Enhancing Education Quality.”
The conference will explore AI’s role in education and public services. Over 200 research papers will be presented. Strategic agreements will be signed, and an AI Innovation Lab will be launched. Discussions will include contributions from international companies and government bodies.
According to His Excellency Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, the UAE is committed to using AI to build a sustainable future. He said education is a top priority and that integrating AI will support the development of future generations.
Meanwhile, the HIMSS Executive Summit 2025 will be held on 23 April at Jumeirah Emirates Towers. Organised by the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), the summit is supported by the Dubai Health Authority and Emirates Health Services.
The summit will focus on healthcare innovation. Topics include generative AI, genomics, precision medicine, and digital transformation. Healthcare leaders from across the Middle East will attend.
Ronan O’Connor, Managing Director of HIMSS EMEA, said the summit will explore how AI is shaping healthcare in the region. He also noted that the event is a valuable opportunity to connect with key stakeholders.
Dubai AI Week will showcase Dubai’s AI vision and align with the Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence. It will also include events like the AI Retreat, Global Prompt Engineering Championship, Dubai Assembly for AI, and Machines Can See Summit.
Other highlights include the Dubai AI Festival, Agentic AI Hackathon, and AI Week in Schools. The week will explore AI’s role in six key sectors: government, industry, startups, talent, tech innovators, and education.
Each event during Dubai AI Week aims to activate these sectors through collaboration, innovation, and policy discussions. The goal is to accelerate AI adoption and strengthen Dubai’s position as a global AI hub.
