Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) and NVIDIA GeForce Middle East are teaming up to host NVIDIA RTX AI GameCraft, an event celebrating innovation in video game development. Taking place on January 23 at Emirates Towers Boulevard, the event underscores Dubai’s position as a global hub for gaming and artificial intelligence (AI).

Organized under the Dubai Program for Gaming 2033 (DPG33), the competition invites game developers, students, and industry professionals to create games using NVIDIA RTX AI technology. Participants will work under the theme “Dubai: Between the Past and the Future,” crafting games that blend the city’s rich heritage with its visionary future. Registration is now open at www.rtxaigamecraft.com.

At the end of the competition, expert judges will shortlist 15 finalists and announce the top three winners.

Faisal Kazim, Head of the Dubai Program for Gaming 2033, said: “The convergence of AI and human creativity is reshaping the global gaming industry. Collaborating with NVIDIA enables us to provide cutting-edge opportunities for talent in Dubai, strengthening the gaming ecosystem and showcasing the city’s commitment to innovation.”

Launched in November 2023 by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, DPG33 aims to position Dubai among the top 10 cities in the $200 billion global gaming market. The initiative seeks to generate 30,000 jobs and contribute $1 billion to the emirate’s GDP by 2033, supporting the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33).

Chantelle Tavid, Marketing Director at NVIDIA MENAT/CIS, said: “Partnering with Dubai Future Foundation highlights our shared passion for AI and gaming innovation. Together, we aim to push the boundaries of what gaming experiences can achieve, spotlighting Dubai as a leader in the future of gaming.”
