Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy has announced it supported 308 high-potential digital startups in Dubai during the first half of 2025. This represents a 39% year-over-year increase from the 221 startups supported in the same period last year.

Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications and Chairman of Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, said the chamber is committed to building an integrated digital business environment. He highlighted efforts to enhance Dubai’s global attractiveness for digital companies, entrepreneurs, and technology investors through strengthened infrastructure and regulatory support.

Saeed Al Gergawi, Vice President of Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, revealed that 10 events and 15 international roadshows were held during H1 2025 to promote Dubai’s advanced digital ecosystem. These events also showcased the upcoming Expand North Star 2025, the world’s largest startup and investor gathering.

Organized by Dubai World Trade Centre and hosted by Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, Expand North Star will bring together startups, innovators, investors, and entrepreneurs to explore growth opportunities and contribute to the future of Dubai’s digital economy.

The roadshows featured pitch competitions, with winners earning fully sponsored opportunities to participate in Expand North Star 2025. Additional competitions will allow participants to qualify for the Supernova Challenge, the region’s largest startup pitch contest.
