In a significant initiative to empower and inspire the next generation, the Dubai Youth Retreat was organized by the Dubai Youth Council, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority. The event, held at the Etihad Museum, saw participation from key figures, including Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs; Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications; and other notable leaders.
The retreat, backed by Dubai Culture, aimed to enhance the capabilities of Emirati youth in leadership, creativity, and innovation, while also motivating them to develop solutions for future challenges. The event fostered communication between youth, leaders, and decision-makers from various sectors, aligning with Dubai’s vision to invest in its youth and involve them in shaping the future.
H.H. Sheikha Latifa emphasized the retreat’s alignment with Dubai’s commitment to fostering creativity and innovation, highlighting the importance of youth in driving positive change. Dr. Sultan Al Neyadi and Hala Badri echoed these sentiments, stressing the crucial role of youth in shaping a sustainable and prosperous future for Dubai and the UAE.
The retreat included brainstorming sessions and workshops focusing on themes like economy, innovation, space, and community service. The event concluded with the launch of six dialogue platforms for youth to discuss key issues, further solidifying Dubai’s position as a global leader in innovation and creativity, driven by the ambitions and energies of its youth.
