Ericsson Unveils ATEX Solution for Ooredoo Qatar Offshore Network

The innovative ATEX-certified Ericsson Enclosure 6129 ensures the safe operation of conventional Radio Access Network (RAN) equipment in harsh and hazardous environments, such as offshore locations.

The ATEX-certified enclosure not only ensures safety but also guarantees reliable network performance and connectivity by providing a safe environment for both RAN equipment and the direct current (DC) power system. This deployment enables Ooredoo Qatar to deliver superior 4G network quality, supporting both indoor and outdoor locations around offshore rigs.
