Huawei announced a range of new products and pioneering technologies at its Innovative Product Launch held in Berlin. Themed “Fashion Next,” the event highlighted Huawei’s vision of combining wearable tech with modern aesthetics.
The company revealed the HUAWEI WATCH 5, introducing a leap in intelligent interaction. This new smartwatch features the enhanced HUAWEI TruSense™ System. The system integrates Multi-sensing X-TAP Technology, powered by a Distributed Sensor Module. Users can now perform fingertip health measurements for faster, more accurate results.
Gesture control is also upgraded. New “Double Slide” and “Double Tap” gestures offer intuitive control. The HUAWEI WATCH 5 will be available in exclusive Purple and Sand Gold colors. Huawei confirmed that pre-orders will begin in the UAE on May 22. Retail sales will start on May 29 at a price of AED 1,599 through Huawei’s online platforms and select retailers.

Huawei also unveiled the new HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2-inch 2025. It features a Tandem OLED PaperMatte Display, offering improved brightness with anti-glare and anti-reflection properties. Combined with the Huawei Glide Keyboard and upgraded HUAWEI Notes app, the tablet supports both productivity and creativity. A new 3D Oil Painting Brush and animation tools enhance the creative experience. This product will launch in the UAE in June, with pricing to be announced.
To support the new devices, Huawei introduced the HUAWEI Care+ Service. It includes accident protection, extended warranty options, and loss care for audio devices.
Huawei also reported the evolution of its fitness campaign. The new “Active Rings” initiative replaces “Light Up Your Rings” and promotes the theme “Enjoy Your Moment.” The campaign encourages all users to embrace health and activity with over 100 sport modes across its wearable devices.
According to IDC’s latest report, Huawei led the global market in year-over-year growth for wearable device shipments in 2024. The brand has also held the top position in China for six consecutive years.
