In Conversation with Philips monitors and its future plan in Jordan

An interview with Philips monitors, a brand known for producing a wide range of monitors that cater to different needs, including gaming, office work, and graphic design, to talk about the company’s presence in Jordan and its future.

TechX: Please share some details about your recent event in Jordan

Philips: The event was primarily to launch Philips monitors in Jordan and to get the partners and resellers on one platform. Close to 40 members were in attendance from all across Jordan – Amman, Zarqa and Irbid.  The idea was to connect with the channel and make it an interactive and highly engaging session. Mr. Hisham Tolba, Sales Manager for Middle East and Africa conducted a presentation on the hero products of Philips Monitors, showcasing the latest technology in  up-coming models. The members were thrilled to get a hands-on experience on hero products which were on display. This was followed by an award ceremony for the top achievers of 2022 for AOC Monitors, shortly followed by some gaming sessions on the monitors on display and a scrumptious dinner.

TechX: What are your latest launches in the Middle East region for Philips Monitors?

Philips: Philips Monitor have launched professional monitors with Windows Hello™ Webcam, QHD resolution, enabled with USB-C. In addition to that there are touch screen which are dust and water resistant. Monitors with features such as Thunderbolt™ 4 with daisy chain setup, also have been launched in the Middle East. Philips monitors has screen sizes ranging from 13” to 55”. Philips monitors is adding more B2B and B2C models to its portfolio with latest technologies such as 4K UHD Resolution with Mini LED backlight. 

As part of global brand enhancement EVNIA professional gaming monitors was launched. Professional and amateur gamers can experience seamless gaming on this range of monitors. The first Evnia model to be released, is the curved Philips Evnia 34M2C7600MV monitor, it ensures an almost cinematic experience with UltraWide Quad HD. The monitor comes with Ambiglow and Mini LED backlight technology. 

TechX: How to do you plan to grow Philips monitors in Jordan?

Philips: AOC has established a name for itself in the Jordanian market, and Philips Monitor intends to follow suit. We’ll profit from our current exposure on retail, channel, and online channels. We hope to duplicate the success and traction we experienced in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Solid Cloud Electronics is the respected partner in the region. Philips Monitors has introduced both its consumer and commercial versions in Jordan. Currently, touch screen versions and black and white panels with screen sizes ranging from 16″ to 24″ are offered by Philips.
