Khazna Data Centers is expanding its UAE data centre footprint with three new sites. Two new facilities, AUH4 in Mafraq and AUH8 in Masdar City, have broken ground in Abu Dhabi. These will join QAJ1 in Ajman, the region’s first AI-optimized data centre.
All three facilities will support the UAE’s growing demand for AI and cloud services. Each is designed to meet LEED Gold standards. They will also feature advanced technologies built to power next-generation workloads.
According to CEO Hassan Alnaqbi, the UAE is rapidly transforming its economy. More industries are adopting AI across core operations. As a result, the need for AI-optimized digital infrastructure is rising. Khazna is addressing this need with strategic developments across the country.
AUH4 and AUH8 will offer a combined 60MW capacity. AUH8 is set for completion in August 2026, while AUH4 will be ready by December 2026. Khazna is using modular architecture to reduce waste and speed up construction. Both sites will apply adiabatic free cooling, aiming for improved energy efficiency and low PUE.
QAJ1 in Ajman is also progressing rapidly. With a planned capacity of 100MW, it will meet the requirements of AI-based applications. The design includes high-density compute infrastructure and liquid cooling for GPUs and CPUs. In addition, it will use AI-powered energy tools to enhance performance and minimize downtime.
These projects align with the UAE’s digital transformation goals. With faster deployment and AI-ready systems, Khazna is supporting the country’s shift toward advanced digital infrastructure.
