LG Electronics has announced the launch of its new UltraGear™ GX9 series gaming monitors in the Gulf. The highlight of the series is the LG UltraGear OLED Gaming Monitor (model 45GX950A).

This launch brings advanced OLED gaming technology to the region. LG revealed that the monitor is designed to meet the growing demands of Gulf gaming enthusiasts.

The Gulf gaming industry has seen rapid growth. Esports tournaments, gaming cafés, and a dedicated player base are expanding. LG reported that the 45GX950A is arriving at the right time to support this dynamic ecosystem.

The new monitor features a 45-inch curved OLED display. It comes with an 800R curvature, 21:9 ultra-wide aspect ratio, and 5K2K resolution (5,120 x 2,160). LG stated that this setup enhances immersion across genres like FPS, RPGs, and racing simulators.

The 45GX950A uses self-lit pixel technology. It delivers vivid colors, true blacks, and high contrast ratios. This results in a visually rich gaming experience.

To address long gaming sessions, LG included low blue light certification to reduce eye strain. The monitor also features Anti-Glare & Low Reflection (AGLR) coating for clarity in bright rooms.

In addition, LG introduced its second-generation Dual-Mode functionality with this model. This allows users to switch between:

• Aspect ratios of 21:9 and 16:9
• Screen sizes of 39, 34, or 27 inches

According to LG, this feature supports both esports precision and cinematic gaming.

The 45GX950A also offers a wide range of connectivity options. These include DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, and USB-C with 90W power delivery. It supports NVIDIA G-SYNC® and AMD FreeSync™ Premium Pro for smooth, tear-free gameplay.

Beyond gaming, LG emphasized the monitor’s productivity features. With 125 pixels per inch (PPI) and an RGWB subpixel layout, the screen ensures excellent text clarity. LG noted that it’s ideal for multitasking, video editing, and content creation.

The design includes a sleek, 4-side Virtually Borderless layout. LG confirmed that this adds aesthetic appeal while enhancing immersion.

LG reported that it remains committed to the Gulf gaming community. The 45GX950A aligns with the company’s focus on delivering premium technology, comfort, and design to regional gamers.
