LG Electronics has announced the official launch of the LG StanbyME 2, the next generation of its portable lifestyle TV. The company revealed that the device builds on the success of the original StanbyME, offering unmatched versatility, convenience, and style.

The StanbyME 2 is designed for modern living. Users can move it from room to room, detach the screen for tabletop use, or carry it outdoors. Its sleek, award-winning design allows it to blend seamlessly into any space.

One of the standout features is the detachable screen, which provides complete spatial freedom. The built-in battery supports up to four hours of uninterrupted entertainment, ideal for outdoor movie nights, family gatherings, or quiet moments of relaxation.

The device also introduces the Motion Art Screen with the Mood Maker feature. Users can display clocks, posters, relaxation visuals, or their own photos and illustrations, creating a personalized ambiance.

Entertainment is enhanced with the 27-inch QHD display. The screen offers double the detail of its predecessor. Virtual Surround Sound and AI Clear Sound deliver rich, clear audio that adapts to the screen’s orientation.

Powered by LG’s webOS, the TV supports a wide range of streaming services, apps, and wireless solutions such as AirPlay and Google Cast. Its intuitive touchscreen, far-field voice recognition, and magnetic remote make operation effortless.

The StanbyME 2 also caters to productivity. It can serve as a dual monitor for remote work, support interactive family activities, or be used for home workouts with the optional Smart Cam.

LG reported that the StanbyME 2 will be available in the Gulf region this summer, continuing the company’s push to redefine portable home entertainment.
