Ma’an Teams Up with Hub71 to Support Social Tech Startups

The Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an has entered into a strategic partnership with Hub71, Abu Dhabi’s global tech ecosystem, through a newly signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration aims to empower social tech entrepreneurship and drive long-term social impact within the emirate of Abu Dhabi.

As part of the agreement, Ma’an will provide essential support, resources, mentorship, and valuable opportunities to social startups within Hub71’s network. Additionally, Ma’an will offer key incentives, including the Social Certificate, Abu Dhabi’s first governmental recognition for businesses that make significant contributions to social impact. This certificate highlights startups that develop sustainable solutions addressing social priorities and promoting community wellbeing.

Through this partnership, Ma’an’s supported social enterprises will gain access to Hub71’s program, enabling them to establish a strong presence in Abu Dhabi and scale their businesses globally. Hub71’s program offers startups access to a wealth of in-kind and cash incentives, as well as a comprehensive network of corporate, government, and investment partners.

Furthermore, Ma’an and Hub71 will collaborate on creating reports to evaluate and publish insights on Abu Dhabi’s social tech ecosystem. These reports will assess the current landscape, highlight key players, evaluate funding availability, and examine the regulatory environment, providing valuable data to stakeholders and fostering growth in the sector.

This partnership marks a significant step towards advancing social entrepreneurship in Abu Dhabi, driving innovation, and promoting positive change within the community.
