“With cyberattacks rapidly evolving in complexity, the level of security that was once sufficient is now inadequate,” said Rajesh Ganesan, vice president, ManageEngine.

He also said, “Organisations need to stay a step ahead of attackers, and that calls for a holistic approach to security designed from the ground up and augmented with tools that have intelligence and real-time information to thwart every single attack. We are excited to announce new capabilities in our security suite that significantly enhance our customers’ ability to stay on top of modern cyberattacks.”

Highlights of Products on Display at GITEX 2021

  • Endpoint DLP, a new data loss prevention tool: Endpoint DLP employs advanced data loss prevention tactics to protect sensitive data stored on endpoints, and it can aid organisations in automating the process of locating and labelling data, as well as regulating its mobility within the corporate network.
  • Anti-Ransomware add-on: As remote work becomes more common, the frequency of ransomware assaults has risen dramatically, hurting businesses large and small all around the world. As a result, ransomware prevention is more important than ever. The new Anti-Ransomware add-on for Desktop Central can help organisations use insights to recover damaged endpoints, learn from attacks, and proactively secure endpoints in the future by blocking similar attempts.
  • Enhanced endpoint privilege management: The business will provide an exclusive sample of PAM360, its sophisticated privileged access management solution, which now includes new just-in-time (JIT) privilege elevation for Windows endpoints. The PAM360 endpoint agent will soon govern JIT privilege elevation for users when they launch certain programmes as decided and allowed by PAM administrators, improving the reliability and robustness of real-time privilege elevation operations.
  •  Support for CIS compliance: Vulnerability Manager Plus, ManageEngine’s prioritization-driven vulnerability management solution with built-in remediation, now supports compliance with over 75 CIS BenchmarksTM. The system can assist organisations in achieving and maintaining CIS Benchmark compliance by constantly checking the compliance of their corporate assets with applicable Benchmarks, finding violations quickly, and highlighting detailed corrective measures.
  • Log360 UEBA updates: Dynamic peer grouping and custom anomaly model building are two significant features introduced in ManageEngine’s complete security information and event management solution, Log360. IT managers benefit from dynamic peer grouping because it provides security context, avoids false positives, and reduces alert fatigue. While Log360 UEBA is an out-of-the-box behaviour analytics module that detects abnormalities in behaviour based on time, pattern, and count, businesses may still face issues that need IT administrators creating custom anomaly models based on their specific business requirements. They can do just that thanks to the unique anomalous model development option.

“The Middle East and Africa region is an important market for ManageEngine, and GITEX 2021 is a strategic event for us to promote our comprehensive IT management and security solutions and increase our brand visibility,” said Nirmal Manoharan, regional director of sales, ManageEngine.

He added, “We look forward to meaningful interactions with customers and partners that will strengthen our local presence in the region and generate new business opportunities for 2022.”

In Hall 7, H7-C1, the company’s senior executives and technological experts will give live demonstrations and presentations. They will also be ready to meet with current and new clients and partners to better understand their IT and security concerns and provide a tailored solution to match their specific needs.
