New Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera Enhances Home Security

UAE residents can now enhance their home security with the innovative Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera. Amazon’s latest offering, this camera is equipped with an in-built mount that allows it to pan 360 degrees and tilt 169 degrees, ensuring comprehensive coverage of every corner of the home.

The Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera delivers high-definition video quality and color night vision, combined with extensive pan and vertical tilt capabilities. Users can enjoy features such as Live View, Two-Way Talk, and real-time motion alerts, which are hallmark traits of the Ring brand.

Simple Setup

Setting up the Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera is straightforward. Customers need to download the free Ring app on their iOS or Android devices and create an account. The app then guides them through a simple three-step setup process:

1. Open the Ring app, select ‘Set Up a Device’, and choose Cameras.

2. Scan the QR Code found on the box.

3. Follow the in-app instructions to complete the setup.

Key Features

The camera allows users to set customizable motion zones to monitor specific areas and reduce false motion alerts. It also includes a manual Privacy Cover for controlling the camera and microphone.

Users can integrate the camera with Alexa by adding the Ring skill through the Alexa app. By saying, “Alexa, show me the living room,” users can view Live Feed and communicate with individuals in that room, provided the privacy cover is not engaged. Additionally, a Ring Protect subscription offers cloud storage, video sharing, and motion notifications with photo previews. For added security, clips are automatically erased after the selected 180-day storage period.

Expanding the Lineup

Ring is also introducing two new earth-tone colors for their Indoor Camera with Privacy Shutter: Blush, ideal for bright spaces, and Starlight, a neutral tone that complements any décor.
