ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW) has announced ServiceNow University, a new platform designed to empower individuals to grow and upskill for the future of work.

The company revealed that ServiceNow University offers a free and gamified learning experience. It aims to help people reach their full potential and contribute to business success amid growing workplace transformation.

Jacqui Canney, Chief People and AI Enablement Officer at ServiceNow, said the speed of change demands a flexible approach to training. “In the age of AI, we have an opportunity to unleash a human renaissance by helping our people reach their full potential, simplify their lives, and focus on the meaningful, innovative work that drives business success.”

Reported by ServiceNow, more than 8 million roles are expected to transform in the US alone due to agentic AI. Furthermore, significant workforce growth is projected by 2030, from 27% in Germany to 36% in the US and 95% in India.

ServiceNow University is designed to enable individuals to grow alongside these industry and technology advancements. The platform offers:

  • Free and gamified training with badges, points, and performance assessments.
  • An AI-powered unified profile, called “University of You”, which helps track skills, experience, and achievements.
  • An extensive curriculum with bite-sized content for different skill levels, including a robust AI learning path.

Jayney Howson, Senior Vice President of Global Learning and Development at ServiceNow, explained that the platform is meant to foster a culture of continuous education. “Built around you and your unique learning journey, it combines the power of AI with the science of play.”

Historically, organizations relied on fixed training programs, scheduled onboarding, and periodic compliance sessions. However, today’s workforce needs adaptable and flexible learning. ServiceNow University aims to enable people to grow, contribute, and remain competitive in a rapidly changing workplace.

The platform also strengthens ServiceNow’s RiseUp initiative, which helps underrepresented and underserved communities gain access to technology, knowledge, and opportunity.

ServiceNow plans to reach 3 million learners by the end of 2027.
