Video games have gained a lot of traction over the last decade with the rise of e-sports and the occurrence of game enthusiast streaming for content.

Due to the pandemic, a lot of game projects had to be pushed or were delayed, and will now be released in 2022.

These are the game franchises that people are looking forward to playing.

Here are the games that will be released in 2022

+ Star trek: Resurgence

The game is set in the universe of the popular science-fiction franchise and is developed by Dramatics Labs, a team of former Telltale writers, developers, designers, artists, and producers. The game is described as dialog-driven, with other gameplay styles such as shuttle piloting, phaser fights, tricorder scanning, stealth, and micro-gameplay mechanics.

+ Saints Row 2022 (reboot)

The successful franchise of Deep Silver Volition is getting a reboot. However, the game has received backlash as a result of the reboot, but the creators are standing firm in their decision to release this game. This Saints Row game is set in the fictional town of Santo Ileso, which is plagued by crime and lawless factions.

+ Gotham Knights

The Dark Knight is dead! What comes after that is the Gotham knight. Diving into the DC world, the game allows you to take on the roles of any four members of the bat family: Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin. The game is an open-world action RPG set in Gotham City’s most dynamic and interactive environment. WB Montreal created the game, which completely changed the fighting system from previous Batman games.
