Abu Dhabi witnessed a historic moment as H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, inaugurated the Bitcoin MENA Conference at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). This marks the first time the event has been held in the Middle East, highlighting the region’s growing influence in the global digital currency ecosystem.

Organized by the ADNEC Group in collaboration with BTC Inc. and the Abu Dhabi Blockchain Center, the event has drawn over 5,200 global experts and decision-makers from 55 countries. Featuring 120 distinguished speakers, the conference focuses on Bitcoin and digital currency trends. The accompanying exhibition spans 8,000 square meters, showcasing innovations from 500 leading companies and brands.

H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan emphasized the UAE’s vision of positioning Abu Dhabi as a global hub for innovation and technology. He stated that the Bitcoin MENA Conference reflects Abu Dhabi’s dedication to hosting initiatives that drive technological and economic progress, fostering a knowledge-based and sustainable global community.

In his speech, Sheikh Nahyan underlined the transformative impact of digital currencies on the global economy.
