His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, met with graduates of the second and third cohorts of the UAE National Experts Programme. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the UAE Government Annual Meetings in Abu Dhabi.

Sheikh Mansour expressed his pleasure in meeting a distinguished group of Emirati professionals. He recognised them as a reflection of the new generation’s ambition, knowledge, and determination to serve the nation. He emphasised that the programme’s graduates embody the UAE leadership’s vision for preparing national experts to shape the country’s future.

He further noted that investing in Emirati youth remains a key pillar of the UAE’s development strategy, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The National Experts Programme, he added, offers a platform for developing specialists ready to contribute to national progress across vital sectors.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mansour announced the launch of the UAE Experts in Artificial Intelligence Programme, a national initiative aimed at training 100 AI specialists over the next five years. The 12-month programme combines academic and practical training, including field visits to leading international AI centres, to strengthen the UAE’s position among global leaders in technology and innovation.

Ahmed Talib Al Shamsi, Director of the National Experts Programme, revealed the programme’s ongoing progress. He highlighted its role in building a diverse pool of Emirati advisors contributing to sustainable development and innovation across economic, social, and infrastructure sectors.

The meeting brought together 40 Emirati experts representing 23 national sectors. The programme focuses on four key pillars academic learning, individual mentorship, practical experience, and leadership projects to refine skills in management, analytical thinking, and decision-making.

Sheikh Mansour concluded by reaffirming that the UAE’s progress depends on its youth and encouraged graduates to apply their knowledge and skills to serve the country and society.
