Veeam® Software, the global data resilience, announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Securiti AI for $1.725 billion. The acquisition unifies Veeam’s data resilience capabilities with Securiti AI’s expertise in Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), privacy, governance, access, and AI trust across hybrid, multi-cloud, and SaaS platforms.

The combined solution will help organizations fully understand their data estate. It also enables secure recovery and rollback of data, while supporting AI innovation. CIOs, CISOs, and CDOs will gain a single command center to manage all data, prevent data loss, and reduce business downtime.

“With this acquisition, we enter a new era for data,” said Anand Eswaran, CEO of Veeam. “It’s not just about protecting data from cyber threats. It’s about governing, trusting, and unleashing data to power AI.”

Rehan Jalil, CEO of Securiti AI, added, “Enterprise AI is impossible without data security. Together with Veeam, we provide a single data command center for resilience, DSPM, privacy, governance, and AI trust.”

Securiti AI’s Data Command Center integrates a knowledge graph and AI framework. It automates data intelligence, security, and controls while enabling safe enterprise AI search through its Gencore AI module.

Paul Stringfellow, Senior Analyst at GigaOm, said the integration bridges security, governance, compliance, and resilience. It allows organizations to identify important data, manage access, and apply precise controls to mitigate risks.

The acquisition is expected to close in the fourth quarter, subject to regulatory approvals. Veeam will continue offering Securiti AI’s Data Command Center alongside its existing products.
