The initiative is designed to introduce high school students in Grades 10 to 12 to the world of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The week-long program is being held at the MBZUAI campus in Abu Dhabi. It brings together 38 high-performing students from across the UAE. These students were selected from more than 150 applicants, reflecting the program\u2019s high level of competitiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MBZUAI revealed that the immersive experience includes hands-on workshops and expert-led sessions. Students will work on real-world AI applications across sectors such as healthcare, mobility, climate, and the creative industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program focuses on practical learning and real-world relevance. Under the guidance of MBZUAI faculty and industry mentors, students will use platforms like Python, Google Colab, and Kaggle. They will work with actual datasets to understand how AI models are built, tested, and evaluated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants will also explore key issues in the field:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ethical considerations and bias in AI<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Future career pathways in artificial intelligence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Rawdha AlMeraikhi, Director of Outreach at MBZUAI, stated that the program aims to spark curiosity, build skills, and provide a realistic view of AI as a tool for meaningful change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The initiative supports the UAE\u2019s national goals in advanced technology. It aligns with the UAE National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031, which aims to position the country as a global leader in <a href=\"https:\/\/techxmedia.com\/en\/category\/emerging-technologies\/artificial-intelligence\/\">AI<\/a>.
