The initiative supports the CBUAE\u2019s Financial Infrastructure Transformation Programme (FIT).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This strategic partnership marks a major milestone in the UAE\u2019s efforts to enhance resilience and integrate <a href=\"https:\/\/techxmedia.com\/en\/category\/emerging-technologies\/artificial-intelligence\/\">artificial intelligence<\/a> across the financial ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The signing ceremony was witnessed by key officials, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>H.E. Khaled Mohamed Balama, Governor of the CBUAE<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>H.E. Mansoor Ibrahim Al Mansoori, Vice Chairman of Presight<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>H.E. Saif Humaid Al Dhaheri, Assistant Governor for Banking Operations and Support Services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The agreement was signed by H.E. Ebrahim Obaid Al Zaabi, Assistant Governor for Monetary Policy and Financial Stability at CBUAE, and Mr. Thomas Pramotedham, CEO of Presight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The joint venture will deliver sovereign, AI-powered platforms and services to strengthen the UAE\u2019s financial market infrastructure. It will support critical systems such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Instant Payments Platform (Aani)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Domestic Card Scheme (Jaywan)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>National Card Switch<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) system<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open Finance initiative (Nebras)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>H.E. Ebrahim Obaid Al Zaabi stated that the venture reinforces the UAE\u2019s commitment to building a secure, efficient, and future-ready financial system. He noted that combining the CBUAE\u2019s infrastructure strategy with Presight\u2019s technology will enhance the UAE\u2019s position as a global financial hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Thomas Pramotedham added that the venture will apply advanced AI to key financial systems.
