The event will take place during Pro Week from September 1 to 6 in Perpignan, France. Canon revealed it will award two independent project grants and bring together industry experts to foster meaningful exchange at its dedicated Canon space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, Canon announced the recipients of its prestigious grants. French photojournalist Marion P\u00e9h\u00e9e received the Canon Female Photojournalist Grant for her ongoing project on young adults in Ukraine. She was awarded \u20ac8,000 to continue her <a href=\"https:\/\/techxmedia.com\/en\/?s=photographic\">photographic<\/a> investigation. Additionally, Shiho Fukada was presented with the sixth Canon Video Grant for her short-film documentary \u201cEchoes of Little Tokyo,\u201d reflecting on a family-run funeral home in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Canon also revealed it invited Reuters to showcase a selection of images from the upcoming book \u201cIn the Moment,\u201d celebrating 40 years of Reuters photojournalism. The book will be printed by Canon and exhibited at the Palais des Congr\u00e8s during the festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, Canon Professional Services (CPS) will provide accredited photographers with free equipment check-and-clean services at the Canon space.
