The update introduces FortiIdentity for cloud-delivered identity management and two beta services, FortiDrive and FortiConnect, for secure storage and communication.

According to Fortinet, all three services are tightly integrated into the Fortinet Security Fabric. This integration offers security-native alternatives to common point products, which often rely on bolt-on security layers.

Michael Xie, Founder, President, and CTO of Fortinet, revealed, “FortiIdentity, FortiDrive, and FortiConnect are key milestones in our vision. They bring enterprise-grade security into how teams manage access, share data, and collaborate.”

This announcement builds on Fortinet’s investments in its hybrid-cloud infrastructure. The company owns data centers in cities including Atlanta, Chicago, New York, Frankfurt, Sydney, and Torija, Spain. These facilities support low-latency services and help meet local data sovereignty needs.

Additionally, Fortinet uses more than 160 global points of presence (POPs) through partners such as Google Cloud, AWS, and Digital Realty. These help ensure fast and secure edge service delivery. Fortinet’s services are also available via cloud marketplaces like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, offering broader access and flexibility.

Fortinet’s latest FortiCloud services include:

FortiIdentity: A cloud-native identity and access management solution offering SSO, MFA, FIDO2 passkeys, and identity federation. It also includes FortiPAM-as-a-Service to support Zero Trust access.

FortiDrive: A secure file storage and collaboration platform with encryption, role-based access, and version history for easy content management.

FortiConnect: A unified communication tool for secure messaging, meetings, and file sharing. It is backed by FortiGuard Labs’ AI-powered threat intelligence.

The new offerings extend centralized visibility, policy enforcement, and real-time threat protection across users, devices, and data.

Fortinet also reported continued investment in its cloud services, including new solutions like FortiSASE, FortiAppSec, and FortiSOC. All are available through FortiCloud’s centralized portal.

The company emphasized that FortiCloud now plays a key role in delivering scalable, unified security for hybrid work environments. Fortinet Security Fabric continues to be central to this strategy.

[154,9621
1051
9732
post-100564","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-cloud-computing","category-emerging-technologies","tag-vendors","contributor-news-desk
["GET
