Marc explains that the company\u2019s earliest version was Lightified, a digital marketplace built to connect lighting buyers and sellers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMy co-founder Rupert Tait came from a lighting consulting background, and I was leading specification sales across the Middle East and EMEA,\u201d he recalls. \u201cBut the market wasn\u2019t quite ready for that idea, so we pivoted and that pivot led to Procurified becoming a SaaS product.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n The shift happened when the team began engaging with contractors, including ALEMCO, the MEP arm of ALEC Holdings. Marc reveals their upcoming AI assistant, Tessium, which he believes will fundamentally change how contractors retrieve information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cTessium turns every file, folder, and email into instant answers,\u201d he says. Partnering With ALEC<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n When speaking about Procurified\u2019s growth, Marc credits much of their momentum to the collaborative environment fostered by ALEC Holdings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe\u2019re fortunate to be part of this ecosystem, even though we work with only one business unit,\u201d he notes.
