The National Media Office and the UAE Cybersecurity<\/a> Council have announced a strategic cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening institutional partnership and aligning national media capabilities with cybersecurity requirements. The agreement seeks to enhance the security of the digital domain and support national initiatives focused on secure digital transformation. It was signed on the sidelines of the BRIDGE Summit 2025<\/a> by Dr. Mohamed Hamad Al Kuwaiti, Head of the UAE Government Cybersecurity Council, and Dr. Jamal Mohammed Al Kaabi, Director-General of the National Media Office, in the presence of several officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two sides revealed that the cooperation will include exchanging specialised cybersecurity awareness content, supporting national digital protection initiatives, and ensuring compliance with approved cybersecurity standards. The agreement also covers training national talent to strengthen their readiness to address evolving cyber challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officials reported that both entities will exchange cyber threat indicators and support media and artistic content designed to raise public awareness. He added that the agreement reflects the UAE\u2019s commitment to a safe and trustworthy digital environment supported by integrated cybersecurity and media efforts.
