This marks a sharp increase from $16.5 billion recorded a year earlier, based on data compiled by the Ministry of Science and ICT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The increase came despite fewer working days during the month. Notably, it represents the highest export value ever recorded for any February.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, ICT imports also rose. Imports increased 19.6 percent year-on-year to reach $13 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result, the sector posted a trade surplus of $20.5 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, ICT exports accounted for 49.8 percent of the country\u2019s total exports of $67.45 billion in February.
