The Dulook DXB, <\/strong>Global Prayer Timings application, developed by the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai<\/a>, continues to expand its digital<\/a> reach. The platform is now approaching the milestone of one million downloads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The application has surpassed 917,000 downloads. Within just two years of its launch, it has reached users in 194 countries across seven continents. This reflects the app\u2019s growing global presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, usage has increased significantly during the holy month of Ramadan. Since the beginning of Ramadan 1447 AH, the application has recorded more than 54,000 new downloads. This growth highlights rising demand and users\u2019 increasing reliance on digital services to organize and track prayer times accurately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Data also shows a surge in activity at the start of the holy month. On the first day of Ramadan, active users exceeded 150,000 per hour. This represented a 185% increase compared with the usual rate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On average, the app records more than 35,000 concurrent active users during daily peak periods. These peaks typically occur around the Maghrib and Fajr calls to prayer. This trend highlights the reliance of users on the platform for precise prayer time notifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, more than 335,000 users interact daily with the app\u2019s notifications. These alerts include prayer-time reminders, inspirational wisdom, and updates about key features of the application. As a result, engagement with the platform continues to grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, the department said this level of interaction reflects strong engagement with digital religious content. The notifications are designed to enhance religious awareness and support users in performing daily worship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Dr. Hamad Mohammed Saleh, Head of the Moonsighting and Prayer Timings Section at the department, the growing popularity of the application highlights the success of innovative digital religious solutions. He noted that the platform combines scientific accuracy with ease of use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also explained that the application was developed with a global vision. It was created in collaboration with the International Astronomical Center to ensure precise calculation of prayer times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This initiative aligns with Dubai\u2019s broader vision of advancing innovative government services powered by technology.
