The event highlights Morocco\u2019s vision for a competitive, inclusive, and sustainable digital future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fourth edition will take place from 7\u20139 April 2026. It will host more than 1,450 exhibitors and startups. Participants from over 130 countries will attend. Moreover, new countries such as Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Guinea, Hungary, Luxembourg, Thailand, and Zambia will join this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event is held under the High Patronage of King Mohammed VI. It is organised by KAOUN International. It is hosted by the Digital Development Agency, under the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, the event moves beyond dialogue to implementation. It serves as a platform for pan-African collaboration. It also connects global innovation with African priorities. As a result, it supports scalable digital solutions and long-term economic resilience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AI is expected to contribute $1.2 trillion to Africa\u2019s economy by 2030. Therefore, the event aims to unlock shared innovation and strengthen integration. It also reinforces Africa\u2019s role in global technology leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the preview press conference, key officials shared their insights. Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni highlighted AI as a major opportunity. She noted the importance of talent development and infrastructure. Amine El Mezouaghi emphasized Morocco\u2019s ambition to become a regional tech hub. Meanwhile, Trixie LohMirmand pointed to the event\u2019s rapid growth and global impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, the event will support Africa\u2019s startup ecosystem. After $3.9 billion in funding in 2025, startups continue to gain momentum. North Star Africa will showcase over 800 startups. In addition, more than 400 investors managing $350 billion in assets will attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Morocco 300 initiative will also expand. It will support local companies in scaling globally. This reflects a 50% increase from the previous edition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>New sector showcases will highlight key growth areas. These include data centres, fintech, and future mobility. In addition, sports technology and AI-driven finance will be featured. The programme will also address <a href=\"https:\/\/techxmedia.com\/en\/category\/emerging-technologies\/cybersecurity\/\">cybersecurity<\/a> challenges through the STAR Summit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, the event will strengthen international digital cooperation. It aims to build partnerships and explore emerging sectors.
