Careem Pay<\/a> has expanded its partnership with Adyen to scale its remittance services in the UAE. The move builds on a long-standing relationship of more than eight years between the two companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adyen, a global financial technology platform, will support Careem Pay\u2019s fast-growing remittance service. As a result, customers in the UAE can continue sending international money transfers to Europe, the Middle East<\/a>, South Asia, and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, Adyen will provide an integrated payments infrastructure. This is designed to enhance performance, trust, and resilience across Careem Pay\u2019s offerings. It also aims to support sustainable and long-term growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the partnership will enable unified settlement and streamlined reporting. This will be delivered through a single, consolidated framework. Consequently, it is expected to improve operational efficiency and increase transparency across transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond this, the collaboration will focus on optimizing payment performance. It will help boost conversion and authorization rates. At the same time, the platform will offer a secure and scalable payments foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daumantas Grigaravicius, Head of Middle East at Adyen, said Careem Pay remains a strategic growth area. He noted that the partnership will help reduce operational complexity. He also highlighted the shift from physical to digital remittance channels in the UAE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Mohammad El Saadi, Vice President of Careem Pay, said the company aims to simplify financial services. He added that the partnership will help ensure remittance services remain fast and reliable as the platform expands globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, Careem Pay enables international transfers from the UAE to more than 35 countries through the Careem app. The service is offered in partnership with Lulu Exchange and is licensed by the Central Bank of the UAE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
