Sophos<\/a> cybersecurity has announced the appointment of Hussain Salman as Enterprise Services Director for the Gulf Region. He will lead operations across the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, and Qatar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, the region continues to face high levels of cyberattacks and remains one of the most targeted globally. As a result, cybersecurity has shifted from a priority to an urgent business need. In addition, the cybersecurity market is expected to grow significantly, nearly doubling from USD 20.55 billion in 2025 to USD 40.97 billion by 2030. This growth is driven by rapid digital transformation, rising state-sponsored threats, and increasing AI-powered cyberattacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hussain Salman brings decades of experience in IT services, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. Previously, he worked at Dell Technologies for several years. Later, he led cybersecurity<\/a> business development at Secureworks, where he supported regional growth and helped organisations adopt practical security strategies across the Gulf market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his new role, he will oversee enterprise services delivery across the Gulf region. He will work closely with organisations to strengthen cyber resilience and secure hybrid environments. Furthermore, he will support customers using Sophos AI-driven cybersecurity solutions. These include 24\/7 threat monitoring, prevention, detection, and response. He will also guide enterprises in accelerating digital transformation with greater security assurance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
