Ericsson<\/a> has expanded its collaboration with Umniah by Beyon under the Ericsson e-Waste<\/a> Program, coinciding with Earth Day 2026. The initiative supports responsible end-of-life handling of electronic and electrical equipment. It also reinforces both companies\u2019 commitment to sustainable network evolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Since 2024, the collaboration has enabled the recycling of more than 130 metric tons of decommissioned equipment. As a result, landfill waste has been reduced. In addition, the program supports resource recovery and promotes circular economy practices through structured collection and certified recycling processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Moreover, the initiative aligns with both companies\u2019 climate action and environmental sustainability strategies. By improving lifecycle management of network equipment, they are enhancing value recovery. At the same time, they are minimizing the environmental footprint of network modernization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meanwhile, Umniah continues to strengthen its position in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The company is accelerating its transformation following its rebrand to Umniah by Beyon. Sustainability remains a core element of its network modernization strategy. The program aims to reduce environmental impact and ensure proper end-of-life handling.
