Mai Dubai<\/a> has completed an enterprise-wide automation programme using Kissflow<\/a>. The initiative enabled the company to digitalise and automate 96 critical operational processes within two years of deployment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result, Mai Dubai reduced manual workloads, accelerated turnaround times, and improved overall business agility. Notably, all applications were developed in-house without vendor dependency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Adrian D\u2019Cunha, Head of Information Technology at Mai Dubai, the company has long aimed to build a digital-first organisation. He said the ERP system remains central, however many operational challenges exist around it. Therefore, the company adopted a low-code, no-code platform to build customised applications, integrate systems, and digitise workflows without disrupting its core SAP environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the implementation of Kissflow in November 2024, Mai Dubai moved quickly. Despite operating with a lean IT team, the company scaled automation within months. It went on to develop 96 processes, including sales order creation, invoice approvals, discount approvals, and other workflows that previously relied on manual intervention or fragmented systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, Mai Dubai developed a fleet management system using Kissflow. Instead of investing in an off-the-shelf solution, the company built a fully functional system internally. This approach reduced costs and implementation time. At the same time, it ensured the system was tailored to its operational requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Consequently, the impact has been significant. Mai Dubai reduced process cycle times by up to 50 percent. In addition, it improved internal efficiency and enhanced customer and partner experiences through faster order processing and approvals, along with greater operational transparency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond large-scale systems, the platform also enabled rapid innovation. For instance, a merchandising system was conceptualised, built, and deployed in just 45 minutes. This highlights the speed and flexibility of low-code development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

D\u2019Cunha said Kissflow bridged the gap between speed, efficiency, and governance. He added that what began as a simple approval workflow evolved into a full application platform. It was deployed in weeks, scaled internally, and extended to vendors. He also noted that workflows could be built in hours, while a live merchandising module was launched in under an hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Prasanna Rajendra, Vice-President, EMEA at Kissflow, highlighted a broader shift. He said the transformation is no longer limited to IT teams. Instead, operational teams are now empowered to build and optimise their own workflows. This has significantly increased execution speed. He added that a unified digital layer now connects people, processes, and data in real time, supporting a more responsive operating model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, Mai Dubai is now using the platform as a foundation for data-driven decision-making. By integrating workflows and consolidating data from multiple systems, the company has gained real-time visibility into operations. This, in turn, supports more accurate planning, forecasting, and proactive decision-making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, Mai Dubai continues to strengthen its digital capabilities. As it expands, its investment in low-code innovation and in-house development positions the company to remain agile and competitive.
